O.K., We know we all have to an application to save our important documents, maybe a few recipes, and also our pictures. There are quite a few out there to pick from, but the two big boys are Spring Pad and Ever Note. Lets see which one we think is the best. They both are a lot a like, but they have their differences. Spring Pad has everything separated into separate books, which I personally like a lot. I don't like when you open the application up that you can see all your notes all at one time. That is one advantage to Spring Pad. Ever Note looks more like your inbox in your email. Not that you can't separate them into separate notebooks, you can, but when you first open up ever note you still see all your notes all at once. I would pick Spring Pad over Ever Note on that one, because I like the privacy.
They both have web clippers, which I think most applications do. That is a very good thing to have, because it can keep your url's in tact for you, so you don't have to try to remember which one you needed in the first place. Also, with Spring Pad you can fix your note books up how ever you decide you want them to look. Which means if you want to put your own pictures on them or whatever that is up to you. With Ever Note you can't do that, you can only name your note book and put your stuff into it. Also, Ever Note has unlimited storage, but you can only upload a certain amount each month.(I think its 60MB's). Spring Pad has unlimited storage, period. I like the part about ever note where it has a desktop client and Spring Pad doesn't, but that in itself is not enough to made me want to use Ever Note more than Spring Pad. With Ever Note you can also use skitch to point out all the important things or not so important things, but personally I still like Spring Pad better. Ever Note just doesn't have the privacy that I think you should have, and Spring Pad does. If Ever Note would make some changes so that you could have you note books separately than I might think about using it more, but right now I pick is Spring Pad.
