Bitcoins, what are they, and where are they going?

BIT COINS:

Bitcoins, what are they. Bitcoins are virtual currency "mined" from computer transactions, could one day challenge the hegemony of nation-issued money and create a truly viable decentralized, anonymous currency. Along the way, though, supporters must deal with challenges of building a new exchange system-and the inevitable winners and losers creates. According to the website " Bitcoin Fever Catching On," Bitcoin , has been gaining popularity globally this year, also catching the attention'a of the youth in India. Many college students and young professionals here are seeking to buy bitcoins, because they see the currency as the future, and they hope to make big money  off of them.
Here is a image of what the Bitcoin looks like, front and back. "It's a good investment option compared to a [traditional] currency because a limited supply," says Jinson Samuel, a 30-year-old website developer in Chennai, who recently started buying bitcoins. Unlike a traditional currency such as the rupee, which has a physical presence in the form of a note or coin, Bitcoin is a virtual currency which exists only online. The currency is "created" when computers solve complex  mathematical problems. Or, people can buy bitcoins from others who already own them.

More and more Indians  have been downloading the software needed to "mine" this currency, according to some data available through the end of  September, but creating a bitcoin with an ordinary home computer can take weeks or months.

There isn't any conclusive data on how many bitcoins are held by Indians, but enthusiasts say the number are growing.

The Reserve Bank of India, which prints rupees, says it is "closely watching growth of bitcoins but is not currently regulating the currency, according to a spokeswoman. Bitcoins got a boost last month, when lawmakers in the U.S. called it a "legitimate" financial service. Some countries such as the U.S., China and Japan now have electronic- exchange-like a stock exchange-where people can  buy or sell bitcoins. Only a small number of the electronic coins are created every day and as more people want to buy this currency, its value has been surging. The bitcoin was last changing hands at $927.17 on Japan-based  Mt. Gox, one of the most active bitcoin exchanges, 6,000% higher than at the start of the year.

Las Vegas- In highly insulated world of Bitcoin devotees, a small clutch of early adopters are treated like rock stars. Shortly after his panel on investment opportunities, former child star Brock Pierce {The Mighty Ducks} was  engulfed by a throng of admires. He wasn't surrounded for his acting chops but for making a small fortune investing in Mastercoin Foundation, which lets people create their own crypto currency using Bitcoin computing protocol. "Next year will be the year of Bitcoic," says Pierce, managing director of Clearstone Global Gaming Fund and an advocate of  virtual currency since the late 1990's.
In this video it will show you everything you need to know about bit coins. Also, If you want a bit coin wallet it is free. Bit coin verifies transactions with the same state of art encryption that is used in military and government applications-See more at http://www.weusecoins.com/en/#sthash.LZ2TPPcm.dpuf

Bit coin is open source, nobody owns it the most popular client maintained by a community of open-source developers. If you use the Bit coin network, it will be free, except for a small fee you will pay to speed up your transactions.

GOOGLE EARTH and GOOGLE MAPS!!!

Here is the new Google Maps, you can find anywhere you want to go save your directions. Save the places on the map that you want to visit when you get to your destination. Places to eat, places to stay, and they (Google Maps) will even make recommendations to other places, Cool isn't it?

Also, you can plan out your trip, place markers, set layers for your trip, see how many miles it's going to take to get you there. This way you can plan your budget for your trip, knowing how much gas its going to take to get you where your going. You can also map out your directions and put them in your own GPS system. This will make everything so much easier for the driver.

You can also put your start directions in the search box and your destination in the lower search box, and the Google Maps will map out your directions for you. In the lower left hand corner is the written directions.

Now on to to Google Earth, where you can fly from one place to the next in seconds. You can see everything in 3-D view, and street view. Making it so much easier to know what your places are going to look like before you get to them. Google Earth has updated everything, which makes it even easier to use. You can pick where you want to go and put it in the search box, which is in the upper left hand corner, and it will take you right to that place. Google Earth will give a 3-D view of everything you need to see.

I figured a video would be the best way to let everybody see for themselves just how awesome it really is.

Also, they also have this new video of Cousteau under the sea, enjoy. This gives you plenty of information on how to use Google Earth.

GROOVESHARK: SLACKER: PANDORA: SPOTIFY: LET'S COMPARE!

We all like music, and we all really enjoy listening to different kinds of music. Let's see which one of the Internet Radio Sites can give us the most. Let's start with Groove Shark.

Groove Shark, you can create any kind of playlist that you like, from any kind of music that you prefer to listen to . You can share your playlist with any one you want, even if they don't have a Grooveshark account.

Also. You can broadcast your music, making a broadcast that everyone can listen to if you want.
Listen to music in real time, together, with friends and fans from across the globe. It's your show: Pick great songs, chat with fans, find new favorites, or just relax and enjoy. This is the kind of site that I really enjoy. I have a Groove Shark account, and it's really nice to listen to in the background when your working on the computer.

Slacker, I first thought that it was just a music site for Bikers, "no offense," but its not. It is for any one that likes different kinds of music.
Slacker, I first thought that Slacker was some kind of station for bikers, "no offense." It is a good site, it is free, to any one that wants to have an account. It has anything from Rock to Gospel. Just pick what you want and start listening.

You can start your own statin, put anything on it that you wish. It's free to start an account, but it also cost $3.95 a month to get a plus station.

I don't think I care enough about this station to have an account on it, but it could be interesting for someone else.

Pandora, is also a Internet radio site, but the thing about Pandora, is when I opened up my account the first thing I was bombarded by was ads, that's a real "CHANGE THE CHANNEL."

When I want to listen to music, I don't want ad's jumping around in my face. I will be deleting my account. Not saying that it wouldn't be a nice station, but everything we do we get ads taking control.

You can also listen to music that your friends are streaming, but you still have to deal with the ads.
I am sorry, that is something that shouldn't be on a radio site.

OK, Let's see what Spotify has to offer us. With Spotify Choose the music you love, or let Spotify surprise you. If you know what you want, just search and hit play. Or find new music by browsing the collections of friends, artists and celebrities. Just search and hit play. With Spotify it works on any thing that you own, from your mobile phone to your own home entertainment system.

FACEBOOK, MYSPACE, AND GOOGLE+: Something we just can't live without.

Facebook, MySpace, and Google Plus, which one is for you?

I said I would never have a Facebook page, but I guess I lied, because I now do. I don't spend to much time on it, because I don't have a lot of time to waste. I am not saying that everybody waste their time, but to much time and it can be addictive.I think Facebook is a good thing to stay in touch with old friends and to let people know what is going on in your life, but don't spend to much time on it. Facebook, has way to many ads, I think it is extremely aggravating with all those ads jumping around, you can't concentrate on what you are doing. It also has a setting that only those people that you want to see your stuff can, and the ones you don't want to see it can't. You have to except their friend request before they can see the things on your Facebook page, and then sometimes you can still have private conversations, with the people you don't want any one else to know what your conversation is about. Also, on the right hand side, it will tell you who is online from your friends, with a little green light  lite up. I think that is neat, you don't have to wonder who is online, because the light will let you know.

You can search for a friends name on Facebook, that makes it easier than just wondering if they have a Facebook page. Facebook is very popular right now, but you never know when one of the other Social Media sites might take it's place. Now to MySpace.

Now we will check out MySpace. I also have a MySpace page, don't use it much either, but its nice to tune into and find out sometimes and see who really uses MySpace.

This is the first page you see when you open up MySpace, This is where you can start you awesome MySpace page. You can pick whatever kinds of music you want to listen to when you online. You can stream just about any kind of music you want, country, pop, rock, jazz, or anything. As you can see I am a country music fan. You can add whatever stuff that you prefer on your page, just as long as it doesn't get to rated R, X, or anything beyond.

Also, you can put whatever photos on here that you like, plus you can photo steam. You can watch video's of your favorite artists. Which would be really nice, when you want to listen with a friend and also watch the music at the same time. It's alot like Facebook, but I don't think its half as popular.

Google+, I really like Google+ better than any of them. You can do just about anything with Google+. You can just hangout with your friends, if that's what you want to do. You can also have a video chat, which you can't do with Facebook. You can check out all the blogs posted to Google+, if they are made public.

You can make your own You Tube video's and upload them to Google+, for everyone to watch, which you can also upload video's to Facebook,. There is really a lot of things that you can do with Google Plus, I would just prefer Google Plus over any of them. You can have a conversation with as many friends as you want with Chat. There is really a lot of cool stuff, hooking up with Google Plus.

Ten Most Favorite Information Technology Costumes for Halloween!!!

What would be my most favorite Information Technology costumes for Halloween. Well I can't think of much, so lets go researching.

I think this would be an awesome costume for any little computer geek. My little grandson's would look absolutely ITish in this. I am absolutely amazed by this cute little costume.

I think this would be a good Halloween costume for anybody, it just never goes out of style, and I don't think he would scare anybody to death.

This video was uploaded from You Tube, I thought this was excellent. There is so much fun in this. I believe anyone could find a costume in this video, and they are very simple to make. They just need a mobile "DEVICE", and you can have all kinds of neat costumes. I thought this video would be fun for all ages. This video has about 20 costumes you can make, just with your mobile device.

This is the most amazing costume any father would be happy to have on the craziest night of the year. He made this costume with his baby girl in mind. He puts his baby girl in the holder and he can do anything he wants to for Halloween and she is completely safe."EXCEPT CHANGE HER DIAPER," then he is on his own.

Here is another "CRAZY" high tech costume, I don't know if it will be any fun, but I thought it would be good for someone. It is a Karaoke costume, so I hope someone will get some enjoyment out of it.

This is just another few high tech costumes that would be really neat to have for next Halloween. This video shows you how to make them and everything else you will need. I like these really well.
These costumes don't seem like they would be that hard to make.

And, last but not least, who wouldn't want to be an Angry Bird? I think this would be a perfect costume for any one, little or big. So, hope you like them, there probably is about 25 to 30 Halloween costumes in my blog, counting all the ones that are in the video's and all. I am sure we could all find one of them for ourselves. Take a look at all of them and see which one's you like the best. Maybe nest year, you could be wearing one of these on Halloween night.

How Social Media Has Changed The World.

Social Media has changed the woorld by letting the world stay in touch. Social Media is all over, there is no way of getting around it. You would have to ask yourself why would you want to, Social Media keeps us in touch with the ones we love and the ones we can't see when we want to. Social Media, also let's us use video calling to talk face-to-face with the one's we just have to know how they are doing, like our children who might be in the military, or live far away from us. We all know how valuable Social Media can be, but it does have its downfalls also. Most of our people, no matter the generation, they will not know how to communicate on a face-to-face basis, because they have never had to. All they have ever known is to communicate online. I am not saying they are stupid, they have just spent more time communicating online instead of in person.

This could be a real concern, because everyone needs to know how to communicate in person. Then we also have, that this might be the only way someone can communicate. Just saying, like when we have a natural disaster, this could be the only way of communicating. Here just a few months back, we had some bad things going on in the news and Social Media was their only way of getting the news out. There is just so much "Good" to come from Social Media, but does it outweigh the "BAD."
Well, the good news is that it isn't going anywhere, there will always be something for us all to talk about. We will always have family, friends, co-workers, relatives that live far away, and God knows whoever else we want to talk to, online. There are people that have their own little groups of people online, because more than likely, someone has said something they didn't like, or didn't agree with them for some reason, so they stay within their own little groups that do agree with them. We all are never going to agree on everything, so there will always be someone out there that doesn't want to talk to us. We just really need to take it with a grain of salt and go on.

The thing of it is Social Media is one sure way of getting things out there. Something can be going on in the United States and it will be around the world and back before you know it. If we disagree with our political status, we can always go online to one of the Social Media networks and we will know in a little while how many people agree with us, and how many don't. It is just a faster way of getting our opinion across. If there is a child been kidnapped, we can put out an Amber alert and as soon as that Amber alert goes up, someone will take it to the Social networks. This could mean the difference between a child being saved or maybe never being found. If something goes wrong in your own family, Social Media is a way of letting family members or friends know about it, when without Social Media they might not for a week or two. I know that everything is not great about Social Media, but I believe there is more good than bad.

Social Media has changed our world. It makes it faster for us to contact someone we love, or someone we really just need to be in touch with. There is really nothing wrong with Social Media, just don't put all your personal information on there for the world to see. Whether we believe it or not, there are still people out there that will take advantage of that information. Let us all enjoy Social Media, not be a victim to it.

Let's Do Some PSYKOPAINT, PICMONKEY, SUMOPAINT, PHOTOSHOP, and BEFUNKY.

Let's see what we can do with Psykopaint.
Here is the one I did myself, its no Vanguard for sure. But it will have to do. I sort of like Psykopaint because you can start from scratch. You can also borrow one of their paint samples or upload one of your own. I figured I would start from scratch, just to see what I can do.

With PicMonkey I fixed a collage for the Halloween season. I worked on several other pictures, but you really can't do much until you upgrade to Royale. I believe it would be really worth it to upgrade, especially if you like do this kind of stuff. I thought it was really fun, but I really need to upgrade to get all of the effects.

Here is the painting that I made in Sumo Paint
I thought this was pretty fun , they have all kinds of tools you can use to make all different kinds of shapes and styles. This makes things a lot more fun when you have more tools to work with.

Now, we will go to Photoshop. I like this one a little, but everything would be so much better if you had the full version of Photoshop. You can only do so much with the free editor.
This is the original photograph, you can make them look hand drawn, but I think that distorts the picture to much. So I just did some highlighting and a few color pops and this is what I got.

I color popped the "blue" and I think this is really pretty. I still think that to make the major editing you will need the full version of Photoshop. They are fun to play around with, but you can't do much with Pic Monkey and Photoshop Express. Sumo Paint and Psyko Paint were the most fun, because you can draw your own pictures, or fool around with one of theirs. To get the most out of Pic Monkey you would need to pay $2.75 monthly to upgrade, which I think would be really worth it. With Pic Monkey if you have the upgrade, you can do all sorts of things, that would be really worth $2.75.

This picture was distorted on Be Funky, It's pretty awesome, and its really fun to play with your photo's like this. These would also be really neat to fix your photographs, on either one of these, Psykopaint, Pic Monkey, Sumopaint, Photoshop, and Be funky you can edit your photo's. You can fix red eye, and quite a few more. This is a lot better than sending them off for three or four weeks, for them to come back and still not be what you want them to be. This way you can do them yourself and you know they are done right. Have Fun.

Google: The One and Only: Has Google changed the world?

engine
Google,Who started it?  why is it so popular? How did it get started? Why did we go so crazy about it? Well first of all, it helps us search the world with just a click of the mouse. First, we have the search engine itself, if you need any kind of information all you have to do is Google-it. Larry Page and Serge Brian met in Stanford. Larry was 22 and a graduate of University of Michigan was there considering attending the school, but low and behold Serge, who was 21, was there to show him around.  They became firm friends and in 1996 started a search engine "back rub.", what a name. Now to make a long story short, they renamed the search engine "Google," and look at them now.
At first it started with just a few tens of thousands searches a day. Now it is in the millions. September 15, 1997, Google.com was registered as a domain. In April 1998, Google Friends Newsletter" was launched.  This was to inform fans about company news. It has since been changed in favor of blogs.
  • In August Sun co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim writes a check for $100,000 to an entity that doesn't exist yet-a company called Google Inc. On September 4, Google filed for incorporation and opened their first bank account and deposited Mr. Bechtosheim's check. By December of 1998, "PC Magazine" would say that Google would be the search engine of choice. By December of 2000, Google had added a series of doodles, the first ten languages version of Google.com, Google New York starts in a Starbuck's with a one person sales team, they start offering search in Chinese, Japanese and Korean, Google Ad Words launches
  • with 350 customers, the first doodle by a guest artist goes live,
and the Google toolbar is released.
From Feb. 2001, through December of 2001, Google
would add Google groups, Eric Schmidt is named chairman of the board of directors, Google Images launches, Google would open their first international office, in Tokyo, Japan, in August of the same year Eric Schmidt, would become CEO, and in December they would release their first Google Zeitgeist, this is a visual look at what millions of people searched for through out the year.
And here is the reason we went so crazy about it.

Between 2002 and 2009 Google would release a Google Search Appliance a yellow box that businesses can plug into their computers network to enable search capabilities, they release a overhaul for Ad Words, including new cost per-pricing, they release the first set of Google API's, enabling developers to query more than two billion web documents, including Java, Perl and Visual Studio. In May they would release Google Labs, with features as Google transit, Google Scholar and Google Trends. Google News launches with 4,000 news sources, they would also launch Froogle(which became Google Shopping in 2012). In Feb. 2003, they acquire Pyra labs, the creators of Blogger, today more than 300 million people visit Blogger every month
They would launch Orkut, in its heyday the most important social network in several countries, In March 2004, they would move again to the new "Googolplex", at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway in Mountain View, now with 800+ employees. They would launch Gmail on April Fools' Day in 2004, today it boasts more than 425 million users, and when it first started it was by invite only. Gmail was inspired by a Dilbert cartoon.
They would acquire Picasa, to help people organize their photo's online.
Google would also acquire Keyhole, a digital mapping company whose technology would later become Google Earth.
In May of the same year they would announce the first winners of the Google Anita Borg Scholarship, awarded to women studying computer science.

Google would establish Google.org, dedicated to , Google Maps goes to mobile phones in the U.S., offering driving directions and local driving directions on the go. Google Maps would be released in Europe. In 2005 Google Mobile Web search is released, specially formulated for viewing search results on mobile phones. Google Earth, a satellite imagery-based mapping service that lets you take a virtual journey any where in the world.

Google, would launch Google Talk, which is now rolled over into Hangouts, Google's new single communications system. Google Analytics, would launch along with, Google Finance, Google calendar, Google Translate, Google Trends, and then Gmail launches in Arabic and Hebrew. There would be Google Checkout to pay for online purchases with the launch of Google Wallet, the Picasa Web Albums would help users to upload their photo's and share them with friends.  Google App's the premier edition would launch, and they would also later in the same year, launch App's for Education. Google would release their application of Docs and Spreadsheets and at the end of 2006, they would announce their acquisition with YouTube.  In January of 2007 "Fortune" announces their annual list of best companies to work for and Google is number one.
Google would announce Google Street views for 30+cities around the U.S., today. They would announce Google Safe Browsing this was to protect people from malicious content on the Internet. They would also expand their partnership with YouTube, today there is more than 1 million channels that earn revenue from the program. Google Chrome becomes available for download in September 2008, also the updated Google Mobile App for iPhone makes it possible to Google web search using only your voice.
Google Voice, would launch with features like transcription, this would integrate to Google+ Hangouts.  They would announce Google Ventures, a venture capital fund aimed at using our resources to support innovation and encourage promising new technology.
They would also announce Google Chrome OS, an open source, lightweight operating system initiallt targeted laptops. We announce Android- the first open platform for mobile devices-and a collaboration with other companies in the Open Handset Alliance.
Renewable Energy Less Than Coal (RE-C) was initiative designed to created electricity from renewable resources that are cheaper than coal. They introduced in September of the same year the DoubleClick Ad Exchange, a real time marketplace that helps large online publishers on one side, Google Maps Navigation is a turn-by-turn GPS navigation system with 3D views, voice guidance and live traffic.
Google Art Project, lets you virtually tour some of the world's best museums and explore high resolution images of tens of thousands of works of art from 40 countries.
The + 1 button lets you publicly give something a "thumbs up." helping your friends and colleagues find the good stuff to buy online.
In May 2011, Google would introduce their first Chrome books designed to be fast and simple.
The Google + Project-real-life sharing, rethought for the web-launches.
Than there was talented young scientists wow judges at the inaugural Google Science Fair, an online science competition open to students 13-18 from around the world. The Android 4.0 a.k.a.. Ice Cream Sandwich, both to work on phones and tablets. We bring offline access to Gmail, Calendar and Docs, for people using Chrome.
The Android market exceeds 10 billion app downloads-with growth rate of one billion app downloads per month.
We join thousands of other sites to encourage users to stand up against two legislative proposals in the U.S. (SOPA and PIPA) which would have censored the internet and impeded innovation. The next day, the bills are set aside. More than 7 million Internet users sign the petition hosted at google.com/takeaction.

In March 2012, The Android Market becomes Google Play, a digital content store offering apps, games, books, movies, and more. Then Project Glass is unveiled, Google Drive launches, enabling you to create, share, collaborate and keep your files-including videos, photos, Google Docs and PDF's-all in one place. Hangouts on Air become available worldwide, they would also introduce Knowledge Graph in Search, which makes it easier for you to discover information about real information and about real world things.

And the question was, has Google changed our world. Google ahs changed our world for the better. It has made searching the web so much simpler, if there is anything we need, all we have to do is Google it. The search engine will take you to it, or send you to a site where you can find it. We can download anything we need, (documents for work, papers for school, etc.) and we can have it right at the click of our mouse. Through Gmail, they have made it so easy to view our emails, and they have even prioritized them for us. Google has made millions, and they even try to help other people make money to, with their AdSense, and Blogs, you might not get as rich as Google but you never know. I believe Google will always be the number 1 search engine, because as soon as someone comes up with something they think is better, Google will always come up with something to make them look down their noses. So keep up the "GOOD" work, Google, you deserve every penny you have made.

It Just Doesn't Get Any Better Than, GOOGLE,GOOGLE,GOOGLE!!!
