Let's Do Some PSYKOPAINT, PICMONKEY, SUMOPAINT, PHOTOSHOP, and BEFUNKY.

Let's see what we can do with Psykopaint.
Here is the one I did myself, its no Vanguard for sure. But it will have to do. I sort of like Psykopaint because you can start from scratch. You can also borrow one of their paint samples or upload one of your own. I figured I would start from scratch, just to see what I can do.

With PicMonkey I fixed a collage for the Halloween season. I worked on several other pictures, but you really can't do much until you upgrade to Royale. I believe it would be really worth it to upgrade, especially if you like do this kind of stuff. I thought it was really fun, but I really need to upgrade to get all of the effects.

Here is the painting that I made in Sumo Paint
I thought this was pretty fun , they have all kinds of tools you can use to make all different kinds of shapes and styles. This makes things a lot more fun when you have more tools to work with.

Now, we will go to Photoshop. I like this one a little, but everything would be so much better if you had the full version of Photoshop. You can only do so much with the free editor.
This is the original photograph, you can make them look hand drawn, but I think that distorts the picture to much. So I just did some highlighting and a few color pops and this is what I got.

I color popped the "blue" and I think this is really pretty. I still think that to make the major editing you will need the full version of Photoshop. They are fun to play around with, but you can't do much with Pic Monkey and Photoshop Express. Sumo Paint and Psyko Paint were the most fun, because you can draw your own pictures, or fool around with one of theirs. To get the most out of Pic Monkey you would need to pay $2.75 monthly to upgrade, which I think would be really worth it. With Pic Monkey if you have the upgrade, you can do all sorts of things, that would be really worth $2.75.

This picture was distorted on Be Funky, It's pretty awesome, and its really fun to play with your photo's like this. These would also be really neat to fix your photographs, on either one of these, Psykopaint, Pic Monkey, Sumopaint, Photoshop, and Be funky you can edit your photo's. You can fix red eye, and quite a few more. This is a lot better than sending them off for three or four weeks, for them to come back and still not be what you want them to be. This way you can do them yourself and you know they are done right. Have Fun.

Google: The One and Only: Has Google changed the world?

engine
Google,Who started it?  why is it so popular? How did it get started? Why did we go so crazy about it? Well first of all, it helps us search the world with just a click of the mouse. First, we have the search engine itself, if you need any kind of information all you have to do is Google-it. Larry Page and Serge Brian met in Stanford. Larry was 22 and a graduate of University of Michigan was there considering attending the school, but low and behold Serge, who was 21, was there to show him around.  They became firm friends and in 1996 started a search engine "back rub.", what a name. Now to make a long story short, they renamed the search engine "Google," and look at them now.
At first it started with just a few tens of thousands searches a day. Now it is in the millions. September 15, 1997, Google.com was registered as a domain. In April 1998, Google Friends Newsletter" was launched.  This was to inform fans about company news. It has since been changed in favor of blogs.
  • In August Sun co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim writes a check for $100,000 to an entity that doesn't exist yet-a company called Google Inc. On September 4, Google filed for incorporation and opened their first bank account and deposited Mr. Bechtosheim's check. By December of 1998, "PC Magazine" would say that Google would be the search engine of choice. By December of 2000, Google had added a series of doodles, the first ten languages version of Google.com, Google New York starts in a Starbuck's with a one person sales team, they start offering search in Chinese, Japanese and Korean, Google Ad Words launches
  • with 350 customers, the first doodle by a guest artist goes live,
and the Google toolbar is released.
From Feb. 2001, through December of 2001, Google
would add Google groups, Eric Schmidt is named chairman of the board of directors, Google Images launches, Google would open their first international office, in Tokyo, Japan, in August of the same year Eric Schmidt, would become CEO, and in December they would release their first Google Zeitgeist, this is a visual look at what millions of people searched for through out the year.
And here is the reason we went so crazy about it.

Between 2002 and 2009 Google would release a Google Search Appliance a yellow box that businesses can plug into their computers network to enable search capabilities, they release a overhaul for Ad Words, including new cost per-pricing, they release the first set of Google API's, enabling developers to query more than two billion web documents, including Java, Perl and Visual Studio. In May they would release Google Labs, with features as Google transit, Google Scholar and Google Trends. Google News launches with 4,000 news sources, they would also launch Froogle(which became Google Shopping in 2012). In Feb. 2003, they acquire Pyra labs, the creators of Blogger, today more than 300 million people visit Blogger every month
They would launch Orkut, in its heyday the most important social network in several countries, In March 2004, they would move again to the new "Googolplex", at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway in Mountain View, now with 800+ employees. They would launch Gmail on April Fools' Day in 2004, today it boasts more than 425 million users, and when it first started it was by invite only. Gmail was inspired by a Dilbert cartoon.
They would acquire Picasa, to help people organize their photo's online.
Google would also acquire Keyhole, a digital mapping company whose technology would later become Google Earth.
In May of the same year they would announce the first winners of the Google Anita Borg Scholarship, awarded to women studying computer science.

Google would establish Google.org, dedicated to , Google Maps goes to mobile phones in the U.S., offering driving directions and local driving directions on the go. Google Maps would be released in Europe. In 2005 Google Mobile Web search is released, specially formulated for viewing search results on mobile phones. Google Earth, a satellite imagery-based mapping service that lets you take a virtual journey any where in the world.

Google, would launch Google Talk, which is now rolled over into Hangouts, Google's new single communications system. Google Analytics, would launch along with, Google Finance, Google calendar, Google Translate, Google Trends, and then Gmail launches in Arabic and Hebrew. There would be Google Checkout to pay for online purchases with the launch of Google Wallet, the Picasa Web Albums would help users to upload their photo's and share them with friends.  Google App's the premier edition would launch, and they would also later in the same year, launch App's for Education. Google would release their application of Docs and Spreadsheets and at the end of 2006, they would announce their acquisition with YouTube.  In January of 2007 "Fortune" announces their annual list of best companies to work for and Google is number one.
Google would announce Google Street views for 30+cities around the U.S., today. They would announce Google Safe Browsing this was to protect people from malicious content on the Internet. They would also expand their partnership with YouTube, today there is more than 1 million channels that earn revenue from the program. Google Chrome becomes available for download in September 2008, also the updated Google Mobile App for iPhone makes it possible to Google web search using only your voice.
Google Voice, would launch with features like transcription, this would integrate to Google+ Hangouts.  They would announce Google Ventures, a venture capital fund aimed at using our resources to support innovation and encourage promising new technology.
They would also announce Google Chrome OS, an open source, lightweight operating system initiallt targeted laptops. We announce Android- the first open platform for mobile devices-and a collaboration with other companies in the Open Handset Alliance.
Renewable Energy Less Than Coal (RE-C) was initiative designed to created electricity from renewable resources that are cheaper than coal. They introduced in September of the same year the DoubleClick Ad Exchange, a real time marketplace that helps large online publishers on one side, Google Maps Navigation is a turn-by-turn GPS navigation system with 3D views, voice guidance and live traffic.
Google Art Project, lets you virtually tour some of the world's best museums and explore high resolution images of tens of thousands of works of art from 40 countries.
The + 1 button lets you publicly give something a "thumbs up." helping your friends and colleagues find the good stuff to buy online.
In May 2011, Google would introduce their first Chrome books designed to be fast and simple.
The Google + Project-real-life sharing, rethought for the web-launches.
Than there was talented young scientists wow judges at the inaugural Google Science Fair, an online science competition open to students 13-18 from around the world. The Android 4.0 a.k.a.. Ice Cream Sandwich, both to work on phones and tablets. We bring offline access to Gmail, Calendar and Docs, for people using Chrome.
The Android market exceeds 10 billion app downloads-with growth rate of one billion app downloads per month.
We join thousands of other sites to encourage users to stand up against two legislative proposals in the U.S. (SOPA and PIPA) which would have censored the internet and impeded innovation. The next day, the bills are set aside. More than 7 million Internet users sign the petition hosted at google.com/takeaction.

In March 2012, The Android Market becomes Google Play, a digital content store offering apps, games, books, movies, and more. Then Project Glass is unveiled, Google Drive launches, enabling you to create, share, collaborate and keep your files-including videos, photos, Google Docs and PDF's-all in one place. Hangouts on Air become available worldwide, they would also introduce Knowledge Graph in Search, which makes it easier for you to discover information about real information and about real world things.

And the question was, has Google changed our world. Google ahs changed our world for the better. It has made searching the web so much simpler, if there is anything we need, all we have to do is Google it. The search engine will take you to it, or send you to a site where you can find it. We can download anything we need, (documents for work, papers for school, etc.) and we can have it right at the click of our mouse. Through Gmail, they have made it so easy to view our emails, and they have even prioritized them for us. Google has made millions, and they even try to help other people make money to, with their AdSense, and Blogs, you might not get as rich as Google but you never know. I believe Google will always be the number 1 search engine, because as soon as someone comes up with something they think is better, Google will always come up with something to make them look down their noses. So keep up the "GOOD" work, Google, you deserve every penny you have made.

It Just Doesn't Get Any Better Than, GOOGLE,GOOGLE,GOOGLE!!!

Free Software, Believe Me These Really Work

I have always thought that the McAfee anti virus, until my computer crashed and I let someone else fix it and they put the AVG anti-virus on it. It is completely free and works like a dream. Hopefully the next time my computer needs fixing it will be me fixing it. If there is a threat that something bad is about to corrupt your computer, AVG lets you know before its already invaded it. It will show a little pop-up stating  that  this file or whatever you might be trying to do is going to put your computer at risk, that way you have a chance to stop it before its to late, and the virus has already invaded it. It also automatically does updates, so everything is always in good shape, and if it isn't than AVG will let you know.  It will tell you that you need to get rid of this before it is to late and your computer is corrupt. I personally like AVG because it is free, and it does the same good work as any of the other anti-virus software that you have to pay a fortune for. Plus you have to pay for the ant-virus software every year, because usually it only last one year. The good thing about AVG it works until you uninstall it.

Another free software that I find to be very intriguing is Pic pick. This little wonder is beautiful for us that have this need to redo our photographs or change something that we don't like about one that we have taken. Pic pick is a really great program for taking screenshots and editing them right down to the way you want them. With Pic pick you can crop you photo's down to exactly every little item you want to keep in them. This free program Pic pick as the name states is a screen capture freeware tool. But, there is more to this little package than you would think, it has quite a few other little tools that make it easier to do what you want to do to your photo's. It includes a basic image editor, screen tools like a screen ruler, screen magnifier, whiteboard, color picker, color palette, and protractor.  This little software program is absolutely perfect for the do it yourselfers
that want to fix their photographs the way they want them, or if you just want to get that little blotch out. you can pick out of several choices of what adjustments you would like to do to your photographs. If there is something in the background that you don't want in there you can use the crop button and bam its gone. This is really a neat program for all us IT students to have. We can learn from it, and will help us in the long run, just in case we have to edited photographs.

How to use the C Cleaner Video.

Another free software that I use  every other day on my computer is the C Cleaner. I have used it for years now. I have a Dell computer that is at least 10 years old and I think that the C Cleaner is keeping it going. I love the way it cleans up all the crap that uninstalling leaves behind. It also will clean up stuff that has been left behind from just searching the web. You can also go to tools and it will pull up all the crap that you have downloaded on your computer and you just uninstall whatever you want to right from there. This keeps you from having to go to the start button and bringing up everything from your control panel. The C Cleaner makes things so much simplier and helps keep your computer cleaned up also.

Another software that I like to use is Skype. I love the

fact that it also is free and this one is extremely useful. We have to use Skype for Speech, we use it to give our speeches, the instructor just calls our Skype name and we answer it by clicking on "answer call." I have a real problem about getting up in front of class to give speeches or anything really, and this lets me talk straight to the instructor without having all my classmates there watching me. But if we wanted to have a class room chat  Skype style we could. This is a very good program also if you have family or friends far away and don't get to talk to them much. With Skype you can video call them and its just like talking to them in person. To me this is the most awesome  software since the telephone, ha!ha! Really if you have a microphone and webcam on your computer, this is really worth downloading. I love it.

Checking Out Everybody's Blog: So let's Critique.

O.K., I don't like to say anything about anybody's stuff, but just remember its meant in a good way. You can click on the blog link to see everyone's blog.

    Christopher Whitt:
Personally, everything looks pretty good, except for a few things,

be careful with your wording, which I have pointed out,

also, be very careful with your spelling, and add some pictures or more color to your blog. Other than that I think you are doing a good job.

     Keith D. Ball:
I think your blog could use some more pictures,
but most of all in almost every blog I read, you were criticizing yourself. If you feel this way about yourself and let everyone see it, how do you think everyone else will view you. Your blogs need a little work, but don't put so much emphasizes on yourself.

    Allyson N. Brewer:
I think your posts are pretty good, but you could use a few more pictures and use skitch more to point out what you think is the best, or what needs work. Otherwise, it looks pretty good.
    Alexis Bryant:http://avib2012.blogspot.com/
Your blogs are really well written, but they are
missing the most important thing, pictures. You need pictures to let everyone know what you are talking about, and they put color and emphasizes on your blog.

    .
Also, on your guest blog, all of your pictures haven't been downloaded with your blog, this really needs fixed, it will make the blog look better.

         http://computertechsystems.blogspot.com/
    Ted Grubb
As far as your blog they look O.K., but you need to
add more emphasizes on your pictures and
make sure you put your name in there.

      http://redwingrob.blogspot.com
    Robert Heck:
You aren't putting enough information in for your products. The more you put in the blog about them the more it will make people want to check it out.

    James Hill:
I have nothing to say about James blog, I think he did a really good job. He used skitch really often, to point out his good and bad points. James keep up the good work.

       http://jimison0tyler.blogspot.com/
    Tyler Jimison:
You really need to add some more pictures, some of your blogs don't have any.

     http://thephoenixhub.blogspot.com/
    Scotty Johnson:
I think you could use some more pictures, and make sure that your photo's fit into your blog width.

      http://amberdawnzie.blogspot.com/
Amber Ross:    Your blog is really neat looking, but you have alot of white, you might want to add some color to it. Also, you need to use skitch more.

    ImageShack, Fkicker, DropBox, and PhotoBucket

This photo was uploaded from photo bucket it was not really that hard, it was just working with the URL until you got the right part in there This also is my fine looking grandson, Mr. Braylon, we love him dearly. He seems to be having fun in this wicker basket.

Uploaded with ImageShack.com, I don't think this was very hard, its all in getting the URL completely correct.
This is just a random picture I picked to upload, it looks like they are really having fun. These photo's were all very easy to upload.

This photo of my fine looking  grandson was taken with a variety of other photo's. I just thought this one would be really nice to upload so the world could see. This would be Mr. Jacob, we adore him.

    3553_3088592190897_337892119_n

JeremyAtGreenBrierThis photo was uploaded from "Flickr" personally I think that this photo went in the blog easier than any of them. This was taking on our vacation to Green Brier river. This is Jeremy my youngest son, he caught a really nice fish. We had a ball. 391516_429505893755158_77458653_nThis photo was uploaded from Flickr and I find it very simple to use, it is just getting used to everything. Once you figure out everything, (which took about 5 minutes after uploading photo's) its really fun putting your own photo's and anything else that is related to the photo's in your blog. I am really enjoying this.

photo IMG_0725_zpsbc5255a2.jpg This photo was uploaded from Photo Bucket. It was pretty simple to upload once you get the hang of everything. I really like them all and find them all pretty simple to use, except for Drop box.

This image was uploaded from Drop box, this photo was very difficult to upload. Drop Box makes everything to difficult, it gives you a URL, copies it to the clipboard then its the wrong URL. Drop Box needs to fix these problems and make it easier to upload your photo's to wherever you want to. I think that out of all of them Flickr was the easiest to use. I really enjoyed doing this blog, because I think it's really fun to full around with photo's. You can really have a lot of fun with these programs. Don't you wish our lives were so simple. LOL. It's not, and doesn't look like its going to be simple for a while now.

Just inserted this one by helping someone figure their Drop Box out.
But that is alright, just another handsome picture of Mr. Jacob.

Here Comes The Big Boys, Which One Will It Be? SkyDrive or Google Drive.

Which one will it be? Which one has the most, gives the most storage, delivers everything we need at our fingertips, and most of all will be there when we need it? Either one can sync, upload, save, have our important things on any device, and will be there no matter where we are at, no matter what we need, if we sync it, it will be there. So what is the big deal, lets just do some research and find out.
Don't tell nobody but I have both, I'm greedy. No, not really. You just never know what kind of mood you are going to be in, so if you have both than you just save it and drop it in both, if you want. O.K., lets get serious. First we will start with SkyDrive. With SkyDrive, we can get 7GB of free storage to store all of our photos, and files, you can sync all of this information on all of your computers, and you can even edit and collaborate on Office documents. Also, without any cables or flash drive, you can access the latest version of your files from any phone or computer. Second, lets get to Google Drive, It looks like the first 15GB are free, but after that you have to pay $4.99 per 100GB per month, that's really not bad, but we are looking for free.
Our files will always be waiting on us at drive.google.com, but to make it so much easier, just install Google Drive on all of your devices, tablet, smartphone, and computer ,etc., this makes them all the same, so Google Drive will make sure they are there. Another really good thing is that you can also access your files, photos, or whatever your files might be, even without Internet service. Google Drive also works offline. You never know when Internet service might go down, and its always a nice thing to have access to all of your stuff just in case you have homework to do, those Instructors aren't going to understand when  you tell them that you don't have that homework, just because you didn't have Internet service.
Here are the steps you need to take if you would like to access to your Google Drive offline:

Access Google Drive even when you don't have Internet access or you can't get connected:

Internet outages and long waits no matter where you are shouldn't mean you can't work with Google Drive. Here are the steps if you would like to have that access to work offline, especially if there is work that needs to be done. Set up offline so that the next time you need your Google documents, whether it be your drawings, spreadsheets, shuffle around folders, edit files, and work on your presentation, they will all be stored in your Google Drive folder.

    Set up offline access

Follow these steps to enable offline access on your computer. Keep in mind that offline access is available only when you’re using Chrome or a Chrome OS device. If you use Chrome OS, there's no need to complete these steps, as offline access is already set up for you.
    1. From drive.google.com in your Chrome browser, click More on the left-hand side of the screen.
    Select Offline.
    1. Setting up offline access is a two-step process. First, click the blue button that says Get the app. If you already have the app installed, you won't need to complete this step.
Now back to SkyDrive, how does it stack up to Google Drive?
You've got access to everything on your SkyDrive wherever you are: Your photos, documents, and other important files are available on your phone, tablet, PC, or Mac. In short, your files and info aren't stuck on any single PC or device.
Get free Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote in your browser with SkyDrive and free Office Web Apps. Share only the documents that you choose, with whomever you choose, and set the rest to remain private.
Prefer to use the full-featured, desktop version of Office instead? Don’t worry, SkyDrive works great with that too.
SkyDrive works with great apps you may already use. You can give these apps permission to sync, access, and save files to your SkyDrive . That way it’s even easier to keep all your stuff in just one place and access it anywhere.

One of the more exciting features of  Windows 8.1 is that SkyDrive is now more deeply woven into the operating system. SkyDrive is now integrated into Explorer on the desktop, and you can also set SkyDrive as the default location for saving documents.
Microsoft has also updated SkyDrive to allow offline access to your cloud storage. Take your work with you everywhere you go by learning how to make all files available offline and enable the SkyDrive app to download synced files to your device.
1.Tap the SkyDrive tile on the Start screen to launch the app.
    1-swipefromright
    2. Swipe from the right of the screen while you are in the Skydrive app to show a sidebar with more options.
    3. Tap the Gear icon to display the Settings menu.

    2-options

    4. Tap Options from the Settings menu

    3-switch
    5. Tap the toggle to turn “Access all files offline” on.

    skydofflinehowto-fin
And you’re done. Remember to give the app some time to sync and download your documents. Once the status below your filename says Available Offline, you will be able to access it with or without an active Internet connection.
