Alexis Bryant:Guest Browser.

Evernote Web Clipper is a fantastic extension to get on your Google Chrome web browser.  It allows you to clip things from the web pages you would like to save such as directions for something or just a picture you would like to save.  It works great if you are the kind of person that likes to save something to your computer, but you don’t like to save to your desktop.
Photo Zoom for Facebook is a good extension to have for Google Chrome also.  Photo Zoom is an extension that allows you to enlarge a thumbnail sized photo to a regular sized photo on Facebook.  It is extremely useful if the person you’re trying to look at is private.

AD Blocker Plus is a really good extension because it blocks all the ads you hate to sit and look at.  It blocks all of the ads on Facebook and many other sites.  Sometimes the websites you want it to work on it doesn’t because they are setup to not work with it.
I like the Speed Dial extension for Chrome.  I like it because it creates shortcuts on the home screen of your internet browser.  It makes it a lot easier to save your most frequently used websites.

Jane Johnson: GUEST BROWSER!!!!

I love this extension, it is one everyone should use.WOT is the trusty add-on that will help you stay away from web sites that are  harmful to your computer, or that may have stuff on them that is not in the best interest for you to see. WOT stands for  Web of Trust. WOT is a free community-powered website reputation service that tells you which websites you can trust based on other users' experiences. It protects you from threats that only we (humans) can spot. I like it because it helps you not to get into something that you can't get your computer out of. You can also contribute to letting people know if you think its as good as we say, by rating it yourself. Every website that WOT try's to keep you from going to because it might be bad, has its own scoreboard, you will see a donut looking icon, you click on that icon and it will tell you the scoreboard rating of that site. That way you can see how all the users rated it before you,  because the final judgement is up to you whether you go on the website or not. Then if you do decide to go on the website and you don't think it could be dangerous, then  you can rerate it and WOT will not show you the warning signs again.
WOT simply shows you the website reputations as traffic lights next to search results when you use Google, Yahoo, Bing, or any search engine.
You can also see these warning signs for Facebook and other social networking sites. I believe this add-on is very useful it helps keep me out of websites that could be something that I didn't want to get into in the first place.

My second extension would have to be the EVER NOTE WEB CLIPPER. I love that any url that I might need at a later date, all I have to do is right click on the url and I can clip it right to Ever Note. I have used the Web Clipper for approximately three or four years, it just helps with the fact, that if I need a website to look at later I can put it in the web clipper and there it will be in Ever Note when I need it. You can even clip the whole page if you need to. I would recommend it to anyone.

The third extension I really like is Adlesse. This add-on detects and replaces advertising banners with identical in size web widgets of our preference. This way every page I visit will  not only be ad free, but bear actually useful information presented by a dozen available types of Adlesse widgets I personally selected. Instead of  a pirate attack I can get a local weather forecast, or whatever I select in place of the advertising banner. I really like this, because those ads really aggravate me and this way I don't have to jump from website to website to get the weather forecast, I will have it right on the same page.. It seems like its always the ads you don't want to see, that aggravate the crap out of you, this way it will be what you want to see not what they want you to see. You can  pick from dozens of widgets, and these widgets can be picked with 6 different languages. I don't know about any body else, but I am on this computer alot and I would ten times rather see something I want to see than seeing those stupid ads. We can use any Ad Blocking add-on that we want and why do I prefer this one, because I get actual information instead stupid gibberish. I get real information , not advertising. Adlesse works with all the major browsers (IE, FF. Safari. Google Chrome and Opera). You might want to give this add-on a try, if you prefer good information over bull crap

The fourth extension that I really can't seem to live without, is Pocket. With pocket you can put your email in it that you don't have time to read now and read it later. I am always so busy, with the Pocket, I pick out my most important e-mails drop them in the pocket  and anywhere I go I can pull them out later and read them. I can do this on my phone, computer, i pad, or any kind of device that I have on hand. It doesn't just have to be my computer at home. I know there are a lot of things out there that we put things in to do later, but to me a lot of my e-mails are important and with everything we have to do these days this keeps them safe for me. I use this everyday, because I am on the go everyday.

EVERNOTE!!!!

Ever Note is an awesome writing tool. I have used evernote since last semester and it is very useful to me. I can write any document in ever note and I have a special notebook for it so I never have to worry about where I saved it to. Ever Note is also great for organization, after you save your documents (or whatever) to ever note all you have to do is start a notebook with a certain name on it and drop your notes in that specific notebook. That saves you from having to always gather all your notes for a subject or what ever you are doing , because its already in the right notebook for you. I save all my pictures to ever note and put them  in notebooks with tabs on them. This keeps them organized for me and I know when they were taken and what they were taken for. That way if the pictures were for vacation or just a picture of something special the kids did, the tabs would have it written on them. You can also get the ever note web clipper and you can save url's to it. This way if you need to go to a special website for class, or just something you saw and wanted to go back to, the url's would be there in Ever Note for you to click on.. That would be a whole lot simpler than trying to remember what website to go to, it would be right there for you.  I did some research on Ever Note and  found an author by the name of David Brown. David has been writing professionally since 2008, he started using ever note for his columns, he writes for the Atlantic, a newspaper he writes for daily. He has used Ever Note now for everything he does, and can't imagine how he ever made it without Ever Note. He has now used Ever Note for three novels and all of his columns. He saved all of his notes to Ever Note, even if it was by taking a picture of them in the books he had checked out from the library, (sometimes he had as many as 40 books checked out) and then synced  them to Ever Note. Now that he has used it since 2008, he has everything already set up. When he syncs them to Ever Note he will put the tabs on them to keep them organized. This way he can just put the papers in the right note books, that he already has set up for them. David said he is really bad with organization, so this keeps everything organized for him. Ever Note is really good for people who have bad organization skills. There you go no more looking for nothing. I think Ever Note is really handy for me, trying to juggle class, work, and a family, we can forget things. With Ever Note if you save your homework to it, you don't have to worry about it. Because, if you put it in Ever Note, then it will be there when you get there. Ever Note can be used on your phone, computer, Ipad's, and iPod's, and we know we don't forget all of these. So, just open up Ever Note, hit the sync button just to be sure and there it is, now you can breathe. This his is the perfect writing tool for everyone. Now all they have to do is use it.

GMAIL

I personally love G-mail, I have used it for years. I liked it before they updated it, and now its even better than before. The reason I would rather use G-mail , you have everything at your fingertips. You have all of your messages filtered now. They have separated them for you, they have your Social, Personally, and Promotions. This way if you don't want to see the all this dumb Promotional stuff you don't have it stuck in with your important mail or your social. This way you don't have to pick through a bunch of junk to get to what you really want. With G-mail, across the top of the page you can go to your Google Drive, Your Blogs, you can use the search engine and all you have to do is open another tab. You have all your friends listed at the side of you page, so you don't have to hunt for them you can just click on them, especially if you need to send them a email quickly, or just need to chat with them about something for class. With G-mail all the emails you get from your friends they are highlighted, so you know right away that you have an email from you instructor or one of the guys from class. I also have an Yahoo account and I have just about stopped using it. It doesn't make things as easy as G-mail does. Yahoo doesn't highlight your emails and it don't separate them from Social and Promotional. Also, I feel that Yahoo has way to many pop-ups, every time that you open your email you have to deal with a bunch of pop-ups. When you click one of your emails to read, it seems like you are always accidentally clicking on one of the pop-ups, and its really a nuisance.  When I read my emails I don't want to have to deal with this crap, that needs to be somewhere else. With G-mail you don't have this stuff. I have Google as my home page this way I have everything that I need right in front of me. I download my important papers from my other classes to Google Drive, this way if someone needs something really quick about another class it will be right in front of me.
Most of my friends has G-mail, this makes it that much easier. We can communicate with each other and don't have to figure out three or four different emails to send emails to. I really think g-mail is the best, it has everything I need, with g-mail I can get to my search engine, my blogs, my Google drive, search for any images I need, and have my mail presorted for me without even asking. I like all of this and will probably always use g-mail as my primary email , its just everything I need.
